"oddly enamored of..."
i read these words years ago, but cannot give the author credit. don't know if i read them in a magazine, a book, postcard, on a cereal box, billboard, who knows...but the point is, these words have stuck with me for years. i scribbled them down with a red marker on a ripped-out sheet of notebook paper and stuck it to the wall of the studio where i can see it often.
a visual cue, a reminder to stop and ponder. and so, the images in this section are visual cues as well, prompting me to consider where i came from, stops i've made along the way, and to consider also the humor and sometimes awkwardness of the on-going journey...but always the beauty (sometimes shouting, sometimes whispering) of it all.
